AI4EOSC Announces Integration of NVIDIA FLARE for Researchers
We’re thrilled to announce that NVIDIA FLARE (Federated Learning Application Runtime Environment) is now integrated with the AI4EOSC platform and available in the AI4EOSC Dashboard as a tool
What is NVIDIA FLARE?
NVIDIA FLARE is a domain-agnostic, open-source, extensible SDK that allows researchers and data scientists to adapt existing Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) workflows to a federated paradigm. This tool enables users to have access to:
- Privacy-preserving multi-party collaboration
- Support for various ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Built-in federated learning algorithms (FedAvg, FedProx, and more)
- Flexible workflows for different collaboration models
How AI4EOSC Integration Benefits You
The AI4EOSC Dashboard now provides a seamless experience for deploying NVFLARE projects directly from the dashboard. As a researcher or data scientist, you can:
- Deploy NVFLARE dashboard and the Federated Learning (FL) server automatically within the unified AI4EOSC environment in just a few clicks.
- Share the dashboard link with the participants so they can register themselves and their associated sites to take part in federated training.
- Download startup kits for all the clients from this dashboard
- Start the clients from external machines and connect them to the FL server running in the AI4EOSC environment.
This integration is part of the AI4EOSC’s commitment to deliver advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities through the European Open Science Cloud.
