Designing and Enabling E-infrastructures for intensive Processing in a Hybrid DataCloud.
Supporting artificial intelligence (machine learning and deep learning), parallel post-processing of very large data, and analysis of massive online data streams over distributed e-Infrastructures in the EOSC.
Key outputs
Artificial Intelligence for the European Open Science Cloud.
The original Horizon Europe project that created the AI4EOSC platform. Developed the core infrastructure for training, serving and cataloguing AI models within the EOSC, establishing the foundation that all subsequent projects build upon.
Key outputs
AI models and methods for the life sciences.
AI4Life builds a suite of AI tools and resources specifically tailored for the life sciences community, deployed on a specific catalog in the AI4EOSC platform. It supports life scientists in the adoption of machine learning solutions that improve the utility and interpretability of image data.
Key areas
Imaging data and services for aquatic science.
iMagine develops imaging data and services for aquatic science, leveraging the AI4EOSC platform.
Key outputs
AI Research Enhancement through Networked Agents.
A sovereign, generative and agentic AI environment integrated with the EOSC, designed to act as a scientific assistant across the full research lifecycle, from literature review and hypothesis generation to analysis, reporting, and provenance capture.
Coordinated by PSNC, EOSC-ARENA focuses on model and data sovereignty, human-centred AI, and research integrity, extending the AI4OS software stack towards GenAI as part of the AI4EOSC ecosystem.
Adding to AI4EOSC
FAIR Liquidity Unifying Interoperable Data and AI.
FLUID-AI aims to transform the EOSC into a dynamic, AI-ready ecosystem. The overarching goal is to significantly enhance the interoperability, machine-actionability, and AI readiness of data and models across European RIs and EOSC.
Key outputs
Generative Artificial Intelligence for Earth System.
GenAI4Earth will go beyond the state of the art by designing, deploying, and operating trustworthy, reusable GenAI services within the EOSC ecosystem, advancing discovery on Earth–climate–environment–life interactions in co-design with user communities and research infrastructures at national and European levelsg
